Precision Machining

LFD conducts all its own precision machining operations in an advanced machine shop at its Gosport site.

LFD also provides a precision aerospace machining service for external customers, fully certified to AS9100. For full details please visit the sub-contract machining area of our web site.

Capabilities include:

• CNC milling (including 5-axis simultaneous)
• CNC turning
• CMM inspection

Material types include:

• Aluminium
• Plastic
• Steel
• Brass
• Copper
• Titanium

All processes are fully certified to AS9100.

EASA Part 21 Production Organisation Approval applied for.
