LFD/349/100 Flasher Dimmer Unit
The Flasher Dimmer unit is designed to control flashing and dimming of aircraft external lighting
It provides a means to select between Flash and Steady modes, and Bright or Dim levels, for aircraft navigation and formation lights.
Inputs are taken from the cockpit control panel and the Flasher Dimmer drvives outputs to the lights as required.
There are two brightness levels – Bright or Dim, and two flash modes – Steady or Flashing.
The Flasher Dimmer consists of a flange mounted, sealed, encapsulated metal box with a top mounted connector.
